1 Would you recommend us to others?

Overall, we loved our stay and will recommend to our friends!

2 How would you rate your overall stay and our facilities and amenities?

TRIPADVISOR - H030991 - 24 Jun 2019 - - - Fabulous holiday - take me back! - - - We have just returned from a 9 night stay at the Zilwa attitude and had a fantastic time. The whole resort is beautiful with the decor. The resort is compact which creates a great atmosphere where most people congregate at the main bar in the evenings. Despite the hotel being fully booked during our stay, there were plenty of sun loungers and it was very relaxing - when on the beach it was so quiet! The weather was perfect for our stay and we enjoyed the hotel’s catamaran trip to the mangroves which is just £30pp including bbq lunch and unlimited drinks for the day. We couldn’t fault a thing about the hotel and cant even think of one suggestion for the hotel to improve on. Our tips: (1) book a private transfer from the airport. It’s about 1 hr 15 to the hotel. after a long flight, we were the 4th drop off with our travel company transfer. (2) excursions - you read a lot on trip advisor about big john and his excursions. Or if you want to get out and see something (the botanical garden was lovely) then head outside the hotel and negotiate with one of the taxi drivers to take you where you want to go - much better value for money! We didn’t do the dolphin trip, but that did sound good. (https://tinyurl.com/y37eete8)

3 How did our team look after you during your stay with us?

The staff are friendly. We booked a tour of the west and north of the island, which whilst significantly cheaper than Kuoni, was still expensive. Vic the driver was very knowledgable, but generally, there isn’t much to rave about with the attractions - coloured earth, temple, Port Louis etc. So for the price, we probably wouldn’t bother.

4 How would you rate our rooms? (if applicable)

...(and) bedrooms modern and fresh.

5 How would you rate our food and beverages?

...(and) the food at the restaurants was excellent. We particularly enjoyed burgers at lunchtime from the food truck and the Indian and Chinese a la carte restaurants.
