Was excited to learn about developments in the tourism industry - particularly within Africa as a destination. Also made relevant new connections during the forum with whom I’m currently in contact with for possible collaboration.
Panel discussions were the most rewarding. Variety in the speakers (in terms of subject matter, region/city and demographics) was appreciated.
Attending this forum was a rewarding and valuable experience.
Not sure what the goal was, but I’m sure the organisers achieved something new through this year’s event.
I represent a theme park, so some topics were more relevant than others, but I appreciate that this was done to suit the different types of role players within the industry. If I missed any of the topics it was only because of work commitments, otherwise I found the speeches and discussions stimulating and insightful. It was inspiring to engage with knowledgeable and hopeful industry leaders.
